แบรนด์ Battenwear ผลิตมาสำหรับนักผจญภัย ที่ต้องการอุปกรณ์ที่ผลิตมาอย่างดีเพื่อสามารถใช้งานได้หนัก และจริง รวมถึงยังคงดูเป็นแฟชั่นได้อีกด้วย ชินยะ ฮาเซกาว่า - ดีไซเนอร์ผู้เคยอยู่เบื้อหลังแบรนด์ที่มีประวัติยาวนาน อย่าง Woolrich Woolen Mills ผู้ก่อตั้ง ได้แรงบันดาลใจการออกแบบจาก อุปกรณ์เอาท์ดอร์และเซิร์ฟในช่วงปลายยุค 60's ถึงต้นยุค 80's ถือว่าเป็นยุคที่มีความพยายามไปสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงสิ่งเก่าไปสู่สิ่งใหม่ที่ดีและมีพลังกว่า ในคอลเลคชั่น Spring/Summer 2016 มีการเพิ่มอิทธิพลของ อุปกรณ์ Trekking และ การปีนเขาเพิ่มขึ้นมา มีการใช้ผ้าเดนิมฟอก เสื้อยืดผ้าโปโล เสื้อไหล่ Reglan มีการใช้ผ้า Ripstop ซึ่งจะเห็นได้ในหลายๆแบรนด์ในช่วงเดียวกันของปี 2016 รวมถึงชิ้นที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์อย่างเสื้อ Parka Jacket และ Anorak อีกด้วย Battenwear is made for the adventurer who needs well-made gear that can handle the demands of the great outdoors while still being fashionable for everyday city wear. Designer Shinya Hasegawa—who previously worked on the Woolrich Woolen Mills collection—is a lifelong vintage clothing hound. His inspiration for Battenwear comes from late 1960’s through early 1980’s surf and outdoor wear, an era of clothing he sees as embodying constant change, challenge, and forward-moving energy. writer's comment: Sping/Summer 2016 highlight on Trekking/Hiking outfits. Using Washed Denim fabrics,Polo's fabric T-Shirt, Reglan Style's cutting, Ripstop fabrics. Including signature's pieces like Parka and Anorak Jackets which reflect Battenwear's original style.
