36G ECONYL Embossed Blouson - Black

Developed by interweaving recycled ECONYL® nylon with recycled Suvin cotton, this original loopback fabric is knitted on the only 36-gauge loopback knitting machine in Japan.

The fabric is constructed with nylon on the outer surface and cotton on the reverse, creating a reversible-like structure with distinctly different characteristics on each side. The combination of the nylon’s unique luster and the high-density construction of the high-gauge knit results in an exceptionally distinctive texture. By placing cotton against the skin, the fabric offers a smooth and comfortable hand feel that contrasts beautifully with its technical appearance.

The nylon side is treated with a special Super Calendar finish to bring out maximum luster, followed by a leather-like embossing process that creates a subtle grain-like texture. By applying these treatments exclusively to the nylon side, the fabric retains the comfort and functionality of cotton on the reverse while achieving a distinctive combination of refined sheen and embossed texture.

The resulting material offers excellent stretch and exceptional comfort, with minimal wrinkling or deformation during wear. Its easy-care properties make it suitable for everyday use, and the garment can also be machine washed at home.

This blouson is designed with a well-balanced silhouette and a softly rounded shape. The neckline is constructed to be worn comfortably either folded down or fully zipped up, while an adjustable hem allows for multiple styling options and different silhouettes.

ECONYL®
ECONYL® is a regenerated nylon developed by the Italian company Aquafil. Waste materials such as discarded fishing nets and used carpets are collected, purified to remove impurities, and regenerated into high-quality nylon comparable to virgin nylon.

KANEMASA PHIL. has established a partnership with Aquafil as the first Japanese factory brand to enter into an agreement for this material, securing an exclusive partnership for circular-knitted fabrics made with ECONYL®.
