This high-quality fabric is made in Japan using organic cotton sourced from India, with all processes—from dyeing and weaving to finishing—carried out in Hyogo Prefecture.

The fabric features a classic heavy-duty texture, using thick twin yarns aligned in both the warp and weft. Through an integrated production process in Japanese mills and a tightly packed weave, it achieves both substantial weight and excellent durability.

The original large-scale buffalo check pattern is expressed in soft, muted tones, creating a versatile color palette that suits both men and women. The gentle colorway pairs easily with various styles, while details such as the softly shaped western yoke, wide placket, large waist pockets, and drawcord hem enhance practicality.

Although designed as a pullover, the deep opening allows for easy on and off. The firm texture of the fabric also develops a rich character over time, offering enjoyable aging with wear.
