Our Good 'Ol Teddy is artisan made from natural indigo cotton poplin, grown, dyed, and hand-finished in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand’s historic capital of indigo. The fabric is created using a traditional batik resist-dye technique, a modern graphic expressed through centuries-old craft.Dyed exclusively with plant-based indigo, the cloth develops subtle variations in tone and depth, ensuring that no two bears are exactly alike. The soft yet durable cotton poplin offers a refined hand feel, while bamboo button eyes add a quiet, earthy detail.Each bear is made one by one by seamstress Nui, working from her home using a cottage industry model. This slow, intentional process allows for close attention to detail, precise construction, and a level of care that cannot be replicated in mass production. It is a piece of art that carries the story of place, process, and maker.

ตุ๊กตา “Good ’Ol Teddy” ของเราถูกสร้างขึ้นอย่างประณีตด้วยงานฝีมือจากผ้าคอตตอนป๊อปลินย้อมครามธรรมชาติ ซึ่งปลูก ย้อม และตกแต่งด้วยมือในจังหวัดสกลนคร แหล่งกำเนิดผ้าครามอันเก่าแก่ของประเทศไทย เนื้อผ้าถูกผลิตด้วยเทคนิคบาติกแบบดั้งเดิม เป็นการผสมผสานกราฟิกสมัยใหม่เข้ากับภูมิปัญญางานคราฟต์ที่สืบทอดกันมาหลายชั่วอายุคน การย้อมสีใช้ครามจากพืชธรรมชาติ 100% ทำให้ผ้าแต่ละชิ้นมีเฉดสีและมิติที่แตกต่างกันเล็กน้อย จึงไม่มีตุ๊กตาตัวไหนเหมือนกันอย่างแท้จริง เนื้อผ้านุ่มแต่ทนทาน ให้สัมผัสที่ประณีต ขณะที่ดวงตากระดุมไม้ไผ่เพิ่มรายละเอียดที่เรียบง่ายและเป็นธรรมชาติ ตุ๊กตาทุกตัวถูกเย็บขึ้นทีละชิ้นโดย “พี่นุ้ย” ช่างเย็บผ้าผู้ทำงานจากที่บ้านในรูปแบบอุตสาหกรรมครัวเรือน กระบวนการผลิตที่ช้าและตั้งใจนี้ ทำให้สามารถใส่ใจในทุกรายละเอียด โครงสร้างที่แม่นยำ และคุณภาพที่ไม่อาจเทียบได้กับการผลิตแบบอุตสาหกรรม นี่ไม่ใช่เพียงตุ๊กตา แต่คือชิ้นงานศิลปะที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของแหล่งที่มา กระบวนการ และผู้สร้างอย่างแท้จริง
