The W’menswear “Spinning for a Revolution” collection examines how the invention of the bicycle gave women newfound freedoms since the early 19th century.It is women cyclists who have turned traditional female propriety on its ear, and this collection sets out to celebrate the spinning revolution. The Play shirt was inspired by the legacy of illustrator Mary Petty. Petty would gently satirise New York City’s Victorian era society through her work in the New Yorker. This rendition is made in a luxurious Rayon Linen Cotton blend, woven in Japan.
