46G Modest Shirt - Purple Navy

True to its name, “modest” (控えめ), this signature shirt features a beautifully balanced silhouette with subtly dropped shoulders that naturally fall straight toward the hem, creating a clean and effortless shape.

The shirt is made from an original fabric developed on a 46-gauge super high-gauge knitting machine, recreating the crisp appearance of high-density woven typewriter cloth in a knitted construction.

Despite its dense structure, the fabric offers excellent stretch, delivering an exceptionally comfortable fit that becomes hard to live without once worn. It is also highly resistant to wrinkles and loss of shape, offering excellent easy-care performance.

Combining a crisp hand and refined luster with the natural flexibility of knitwear, this is a new standard fabric unique to KANEMASA PHIL. It brings together the elegance and sophistication of a dress shirt with the comfort required for everyday wear.

The fabric is made using ultra-fine 120/1 recycled Suvin cotton in a two-ply construction. The yarn is gas-singed to create a beautiful luster and a clean surface with minimal fuzziness.

50D high-crimp recycled nylon is also blended into the fabric, providing excellent stretch and enhanced comfort during wear.

The design is based on the construction of a classic dress shirt. All seams are finished using a felled-seam construction, while premium shell buttons are used throughout. Gathers are added to the sleeves, giving the shirt a more refined and sophisticated appearance.

The elegant luster and crispness of the fabric are balanced by an understated yet precisely proportioned silhouette. This refined balance creates a sophisticated presence that works effortlessly both on and off the clock.

Felled Seam Construction
A sewing technique in which the seam allowance is enclosed within the fabric and stitched twice. This creates a smooth feel against the skin while providing excellent durability. As the seam allowance is concealed, it also results in a clean and beautifully finished appearance.
