Sweetness Designed to Be Used
Rhodolirion is a Japanese womenswear brand that operates in an unusual space: it is playful without being naive, feminine without being fragile. SS26 sharpens that tension further by pulling from athletic and military references, then applying Rhodolirion’s signature frills and graphic language on top. The Hockey Team Jersey in Natural uses platinum jersey and rubber printing borrowed directly from sportswear, but the brand’s logo placement and color-switching detail give it a different register. The Swallow Frill Tiered Top keeps the frill, which has been a Rhodolirion signature across seasons, but pairs it with a striped cotton that sits somewhere between jersey and knit in hand feel.
The Three Quarters Frill Side Pant in gabardine adds frills at both sides of a knee-length silhouette. The Three Quarters Track Pant in Rust uses a stretch fabric with a faux two-piece waistband detail that creates a layered look without the extra weight. The Cube Tote Bag is made from the same 100% nylon twill as the brand’s classic Jumper Dress, scaled down from a military bag reference. It is compact, squarish, and works as well with a hockey jersey as with the gabardine pant.
