Perks and Mini SS26: Wearable Art from the Melbourne Underground
Founded in Melbourne by Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey, Perks and Mini has spent over two decades operating at the crossroads of art, music, and fashion. Their SS26 collection, "From Afar Is An Island," draws on the disorienting beauty of distance, the way a shift in perspective transforms familiar things into something altogether stranger. The result is a collection of graphic-heavy, technically considered pieces that feel as much like statements as garments.
The Pipe Dream Mesh Sports Top arrives in all-over digital sublimation print featuring original P.A.M. artwork, while the Urchin Cluster Tee is cut from gridded sports knit and laser-etched with the brand's signature urchin motif. The Aggregate Track Pants close out the core offering with contrast piping running the full length of each leg, a nod to athletic references filtered through a distinctly P.A.M. lens.
