Bandana, Paisley, and the Embroidery That Never Expires
NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE was founded in Tokyo in 2005 by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki — originally as NOMA t.d., renamed on the brand's twentieth anniversary in early 2025. For two decades, the practice has remained the same: hand-drawn textiles, traditional craft, and a deliberate refusal to let a good motif die simply because the season changed.
SS26 is a collection built on depth, not novelty. The bandana — a pattern the brand has carried since its earliest collections — is this season's most ambitious expression yet: hand-stitched across Japanese denim for both a jacket and matching pants, the embroidery rendered in indigo and white with the kind of precision that only makes sense if you believe the piece will be worn for years. Alongside it, Paisley arrives as the season's new voice: as embroidery on open-collar rayon shirts drawing from Indian craft traditions, and as a printed silk scarf that wears as many ways as the person holding it.

The collection also moves through lace patchwork, trim embroidery, hand dye, and diamond-stitch construction — different techniques that share one quality: they reward attention.
