# WHITE MOUNTAINEERING SS26: เมื่อ Outdoor 50 ปี เจอผ้าของวันนี้

## The pack in his father's storage

Aizawa found an aluminium frame pack in his father's storage. He didn't see old gear. He saw a question: what happens when you put today's materials into yesterday's shapes?

That question became White Mountaineering SS26.

White Mountaineering was founded in 2006 by Yosuke Aizawa, who studied textile design at Tama Art University and trained at Comme des Garçons before starting his own label. The brand runs on three words: **Design, Function, Technology**, or what Aizawa calls "White (urban) Mountaineering": clothes for the city, built to the standards of outdoor gear.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection, titled **"Evolution Theory"**, is Aizawa's final season as Creative Director. He traces fifty years of outdoor fashion: Gore-Tex in 1976, the rise of fleece, nylon shells, the moment Heavy-Duty became a full aesthetic language. The collection doesn't recreate that history. It asks what it looks like now, with the fabrics available today.

> Fifty years of outdoor evolution, compressed into clothes you wear every day.

Aizawa at his clearest: simple surface, technical underneath. Fifty years in, still a question worth asking.
