## "Pull, crumple, press"

* * *

TOGA called the FW26 show PULL, CRUMPLE, PRESSED. It isn't a mood board title. It's the order of operations Yasuko Furuta actually put the cloth through before any of it became a garment.

What arrives first from Toga Fall/Winter 2026 is the bags.

TOGA began in Tokyo in 1997 under Yasuko Furuta, who studied design and pattern-making at Esmod in both Japan and Paris. She took the brand to Paris in 2005, moved it to London in 2014, and has shown there ever since. Her work usually starts from a shape that looks correctly cut in every way, then deliberately lets one thing slip: a shoulder tilted slightly off, a seam running the wrong way, a button sized past reason.

FW26 pushes that further. Boxy overcoats and sharp-shouldered suiting with the linings stripped out, leather and wool set against synthetics and faux fur, a muted base punctuated by electric blue, green and red. What lands now is the first drop, and it's all bags: the same idea, shrunk down to something you can carry.

> Disorder that has been thought about. That's what TOGA has been doing from the start.

One bag is enough to say you're not interested in things being tidy.
