# nonnative SS26: แบรนด์จาก Tokyo ของคนที่ไม่มีที่ไหนเป็นบ้าน

## "96 'Til": No Endpoint, Just the Next Season

Somewhere in the mid-90s, outdoor gear and everyday clothing started to look the same. Ripstop that used to live in the mountains appeared on city streets. Cargo trousers borrowed from military surplus became a shorthand for a certain kind of independence.

If "96 'Til" never ends, what does it look like today — that's the question nonnative Spring/Summer 2026 is asking.

Founded in Tokyo in 1999 by Takayuki Fujii, nonnative was built around the idea of the person who belongs nowhere in particular. The brand translates outdoor, workwear, and military into something wearable for the city, without archival reverence or cosplay. Everything is Made in Japan. Every silhouette has its own character name: Dweller, Officer, Trooper, Hiker.

SS26 is titled "96 'Til" — from 1996, continuing with no defined end. Not nostalgia, but a confirmation that function-first dressing from that era is still alive and still developing. Ripstop is still here, but now paired with WINDSTOPPER® lining. Pigment dyeing gives colors more depth. Linen canvas handles warm weather without weight.

> Better fabrics, better techniques, but the core stays the same: clothing that takes you anywhere. That's what nonnative puts into this collection.

The season includes a collaboration with Rafu, a Japanese label working exclusively with flannel and check fabrics. The result is a Trooper Shirt Jacket in an ombre check cotton that Rafu developed specifically for nonnative. A piece neither brand could make alone.

nonnative SS26 is now available at Onion — the first season of the brand at the store.
