## KANEMASA PHIL. — Knit Fabric Specialist จาก Wakayama ประเทศญี่ปุ่น

KANEMASA PHIL. คือ private label ของ Kanemasa Knitting Co., Ltd. บริษัทผู้ผลิตผ้า knit ที่ก่อตั้งมาตั้งแต่ปี 1964 ในจังหวัด Wakayama ประเทศญี่ปุ่น พื้นที่ที่ขึ้นชื่อว่าเป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิตผ้า knit ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศญี่ปุ่น

สิ่งที่ทำให้ KANEMASA PHIL. แตกต่างไม่ใช่ดีไซน์ แต่เป็นการควบคุมกระบวนการผลิตตั้งแต่ต้น พวกเขาพัฒนาเส้นด้ายเอง สร้างเครื่อง jacquard circular knitting แบบ custom ขึ้นมาเองเป็นพิเศษ และทอผ้าที่ gauge สูงถึง 36G–46G ซึ่งเป็นระดับที่หาได้ยากมากในอุตสาหกรรมนี้

## KANEMASA PHIL. — Where Textile Mastery Becomes Clothing

KANEMASA PHIL. is the in-house label of Kanemasa Knitting Co., Ltd., a circular knit manufacturer founded in 1964 in Wakayama, Japan — the region that produces more knitted fabric than anywhere else in the country.

What sets KANEMASA PHIL. apart isn't the design — it's the control they maintain over every step of production. They develop their own yarns, engineer custom-built jacquard circular knitting machines, and produce fabric at gauges between 36G and 46G.

"At 46G, the fabric stops feeling like knit — and starts feeling like something else entirely."

Since 2020, Creative Director Kengo Baba has led the label under the concept "FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE" — clothing designed to age well, resist obsolescence, and outlast the season it was made in. The brand is a Tokyo Fashion Award recipient and a regular presence at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo. The SS26 collection at Onion spans shirts, shorts, trousers, and outerwear.
